SPADEMAN, Albert Palmer Bert ...

SPADEMAN, Albert Palmer Bert passed away peacefully at Innisfree House in Kitchener on July 10, 2017 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by his first wife Lena Madill and his second wife Irene Buck. He was the fourth child of six in his family, born in Toronto to Palmer and Clara Spademan. Bert is survived by his younger sister Doreen, his children and step-children; Doreen, Brenda, Keith, Gord, and Cathy and their partners; his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bert was a WWII veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50. He was an avid Blue Jays fan and was always up for a game of cards with family and friends. Bert had a positive outlook to life that inspired those around him throughout his life and even bridged generations. Let's take a moment to commemorate such an amazing man and his 95-year journey. After all, in the words of Bert "it's noon somewhere." Donations can be made to Bereaved Families of Ontario, Midwest: www.bfomidwest.org, 519-603-0196.
