SCHNEIDER, John D. John David Schneider, 66, of Tillsonburg passed away peacefully at his residence, with family by his side, on Monday, July 31, 2017. He was born in Tillsonburg on November 28, 1950, a son of the late John and Rosie (Stierl) Schneider. John is survived by his wife, the former Ann Winnifred Rutherford, whom he married at Tillsonburg on October 26, 1974; two sons, Darrell and wife Christine Schneider and their sons, William and Malcolm of Tillsonburg. David and wife Crystal Schneider of London; two brothers, Michael (Denise) Schneider, Paul (Josie) Schneider; four sisters, Joan Emrich, Hilda (Tony) Kleiner, Mary Ann (Martin) Jahanke, Linda (Donald) Ruckle; brother-in-law, Michael "Mike"Klosler; "Rutherford" sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean and Joe Vandelannoote and Helen Rutherford; many nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his sister, Rosie Klosler; his brother-in-law, John Emrich; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Winnie Rutherford; "Rutherford" brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Willard Rutherford, Wally and Isobel Rutherford, Fay and Jim Crawford. A service to celebrate the life of John will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Michael's Lane, Tillsonburg on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1 p.m. Gary Parker will officiate. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Kingdom Hall for Jehovah's Witnesses Cranberry Park Congregation, Tillsonburg would be appreciated and may be made by calling the Francis Funeral Home, Box 208, Tavistock, ON., N0B-2R0 at 1-519-655-2431. The family would like to express our thanks to Dr. Ruth Caperchione, Dr. Robert Hevenor, Cheshire Home Care Services and Care Partners Nursing Team 6 for all the years of wonderful care.
