IN LOVING MEMORY OF A WONDERFUL MOTHER Marian Georgina Scott (January 06, 1915-August 5, 2002) Dearest mom, when I think of you I cannot help but recall The wondrous love and joy that you gave to us all. Family you valued; your two daughters you treasured Home life nurtured in faith and laughter so easily measured. You and dad united as one-a dedicated team For your daughters-educational achievement, you dared to dream. When I close my eyes and focus intently on you Decades of sweet memories remind me of all you could do. Your hands had a work ethic all of their own Gifted with talent continuously shown In the kitchen, gardening, with sewing, knitting, smocking Quilting, crocheting, needle-point and pencil-sketch drawings. Hands that could sink a twenty in a game of Crokinole, Roll the dice in a board game; win at Lost Heir and Uno Hands that could turn a page in a book, Read me a good story-that's all it took. The adventures of print would become mine. Your loving hands guided me to shine. Gracious, kind, caring and loving-you were a wonderful mother Sharing, nurturing, supportive-second to no other. Loving you always, Your daughter, Ruth Gray
