Food Service Assistant Volunteer

Position Summary SPLC (Senior Persons Living Connected) is a non-profit organization in Scarborough, which supports healthy aging by providing client-centered housing, programs and services that meet the needs of diverse older adults. The Food Service Assistant Volunteer is assigned to assist in setting tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing and cleaning tables. This volunteer position will support a comfortable and safe dining experience by engaging in conversations and socializing with older adults and seniors. Position Responsibilities - Set tables, serve food and beverages, clear and clean tables. - Willing and have the ability to converse, listen, and socialize with older adults and seniors from diverse backgrounds. - Report unusual incidents or client conditions to your supervisor. - Volunteers may be requested to deliver meals to clients in the residence building at our location.
